Larry Fry

LarryMy career did not begin in the mortgage business, but I have never enjoyed my work more than I do now. My working life has given me rich experience, having had executive positions in the corporate world and owning and running several entrepreneurial enterprises. Being part of the mortgage loan business and especially a partner in Mountain West Mortgage is rewarding and satisfying on many levels. I vividly remember my first home loan closing, telling my wife “this is the best business – everyone comes away happy in the end.” Years later, still true. It has been my pleasure to help my clients get into new homes or refinance their homes, some multiple times, and many of those clients have become friends. That doesn’t happen in many other businesses. In a few cases I’ve been honored to assist two and three generations with their home buying experiences, a true delight.

I was born right here in Mapleton, Utah, one of seven children born to Charlie and Hannah Fry. My family moved to Southern California when I was four years old, and I grew up in Anaheim, graduated from Anaheim High School and attended college there as well. Some of my favorite memories of growing up in Southern California were trips to the beach with family and friends and working on and driving my 1956 Chevy. I served in the U. S. Army and was awarded a Purple Heart while serving in Vietnam. I met and married my wife Chris in Anaheim, and we raised our four children in Diamond Bar, California.  For the last 21 years we have made Hobble Creek Canyon our home, and we have now celebrated more than 50 years of marriage.

Fun with family, traveling, golf, and working with the great people at Mountain West Mortgage are how I spend much of my time. I also serve as the cheering section for 20 grandchildren in their various activities, and they keep me busy with baseball, dance, football, tennis, basketball, drill team, cheerleading, and musical performances of all kinds. My wife and I welcomed our first great grandchild this year and hope for many more.

My hope is to assist you and your friends and family with your home buying needs now and in the future. Please call me any time at 801-362-9134 with your questions, and my team and I will do our best to serve you well.
